Born of the recognition between Longstrider, a hunter, and Morningmist, a gatherer and herbal healer. She
never really knew her sire save in stories from her mother. He died before She reached the end of her first turn. She only know that their mother said
he loved them and cherished them.
Her brother was nearly 90 when her mother died, an illness that she refused to take care of. She said it was her
time and she wanted to join her soulmate. But by that time Risenstar had found a place among the adults with her hunting and Greenbranch was
perfecting his skills with the weapons while still hunting frequently. The brother and sister continued to share a den for another few turns and
then found their own dens, both leaving the one that had been the den of their parents.
Risenstar wandered from the holt having grown restless and tired of the way things never seemed to change for her.
She wanted more, wanted a lovemate that was there for more than a moon or two. Wanted to find a place where she fit, a place where she could have
friends and a family all her own. |
